The smooth, solid leather gives it a very professional appearance, yet the leather is still natural enough that you can still spot wrinkles and patterns. The magnetic closure is great for a little extra security while commuting. Yet, undoing the closure is effortless and can be done with one hand.
Inside the flap you have the front zippered pocket, which is the most secure. It is a lined pocket that is thin, but deep and wide. You can put some important documents here. In the main compartment there is a computer sleeve that is great for an iPad, eReader, or netbook with room to spare, or an average size laptop. Although the laptop sleeve takes up almost half the space when full, it still leaves enough room for a small water container, and plenty of documents, journals, key chains, sunglasses, wallets, etc. The interior also features some open pockets for business cards, slim cell phones, and small documents.
The back of the bag features 2 more lined pockets with zipper closures, 1 vertical and the other 1 horizontal. All zippers have a nice, leather zipper pull and are made with good quality hardware that functions well. The most interesting feature is the handle at the top of the back wall. It is a leather band that velcros to the bag to stay in place and out of sight when not in use. On-the-go men and women really appreciate this handle, which is convenient when you need to quickly grab the bag. The bag also has enough structure that it will not flop over when you set it down - a feature that some people really like.
